The soundscape combines field recordings of the Baltic Sea, recorded on the Curonian Spit in Lithuania, with the sounds of a string psaltery. The Curonian Spit is a landscape shaped by the constant interplay between natural processes and human influence. Its fragile existence depends on constant monitoring. Between calm and friction, between natural sound and man-made sound, an acoustic field of tension unfolds.
